IVA accepted!! 60 months to go.

April 19th, 2007 by sopty

So, got the call at 10:40 to say the IVA had been accepted, LloydsTSB wanted a modification about 5 days before the meeting, and this was all sorted very quickly. All creditors voted yes and Barclaycard never bothered to vote. Onwards and upwards now, yes 60 months of payments to go, but no creditors calling all the time, no threatening letters, and this may seem a bit strange, but it feels good to know that I am at least paying a fair bit of money back (IVA was at 49p in th £). more to come shortly, so pop back soon

I now have a meeting date!

March 24th, 2007 by sopty

This is my first post on my IVA blog, and i decided to start one now I have my meeting date, 18th April, its seems so far away, but at least there will be an answer one way or another, and I can decide what to do from there.
I started looking into an IVA about 2 months ago, and soon contacted Thomas Charles who where very helpful in dealing with my case, yes, they do charge fees, but you can see why when you use them. they do also offer a money back deal if your IVA is turned down.
